June Levy was born and schooled in Johannesburg, South Africa.  She has a B.A Honors in Library Science (Witwatersrand University JHB), Aromatherapy and Reflexology (London Certificates), and Tour-Guiding (Johannesburg and Pretoria). She taught Yoga in Johannesburg, and at the Integral School of Hatha and Tantric Arts under Yogiraj Mani Finger. June came to live in Israel in 1982. She has meditated for 25 years with the Meditators for Peace and Harmony Group, originally in Savyon, now in Yehud.  She is still doing this, and now runs a small group in Netanya.  She volunteered in South Africa for Wizo and in Israel she tutored English in Sharett School in Netanya.
